Are you getting married soon?

Looking for a photographer that you can trust to capture your wedding day memories?

We are here to answer your questions and to help you get the most out of your wedding photographer. If you are looking within 6-12 months of your wedding date, please be aware that most Professional Wedding Photographers are booked up 1.5-2 years in advance because they are in such high demand.

This is one area that you DO NOT want to settle for second or third best. Make sure to schedule a consultation with a Professional Wedding Photographer as soon as possible, and if he/she is a perfect fit for what you are looking for – book them right away. Most photographers work on a first come, first serve basis when it comes to booking weddings.
Check out some images from our past weddings here. To schedule a consultation OR to ask us questions – Contact Us.
Today we were visited by 2 couples and both selected us to photograph their weddings.
Nicole and Joe & Janell and Courtney – we look forward to your upcoming engagement sessions. Plan on having fun and capturing some great images to share with your family and friends. Now on your wedding day – pretty much the same as the engagement session. Plan on having fun and capturing some amazing pictures of your special day for years to come.
What does this mean for couples looking for a wedding photographer? There are only so many weekends that we can photograph weddings. Do we have yours open? Send us a note and we will check our calendars and get back to you ASAP.
So we have one more bridal show this season. Why? Because we have a few more dates open for 2010 and we are looking to fill up our 2011 wedding calendar.
Are you getting married in 2011? Think that its too early to book a wedding photographer? Maybe – but if you don’t want to settle for your 3rd or 4th choice, then I would put selecting a photographer at the top of your list of professional vendors to have for your wedding day. Ceremony and reception (food is included in this) are definitely #1 & #2. Then #3 & #4 should be photographer & videographer (if you are going to hire both). DJ is next, cake, invitations (we can help with these) and other small things that will be needed for your wedding.
So where will this bridal show be held? At the Glenmore Country Club in Canton. February 28, 2010.
Come and visit us – we have some great incentives for couples that sign with us. What is this offer? I cannot go into too much detail, you will have to come and visit us at the bridal show to find out. Here is a hint on what we are offering – looking for a FREE wedding album? We can show you how to accomplish this and much more.
There is no cover charge, and there will be a great selection of professional wedding vendors to talk about your wedding day with.

Below is a slideshow to highlight some of the images that we captured at weddings in 2009.
Invest in your wedding images with us – we are much more then wedding photographers. Want to find out how we can help you plan a stress free wedding day? Contact Us and we can show you how this is possible.
Well if you live in the Eastern portion of the USA or even in the middle north portion of the US – you know that we were hit with some snow in the last week. And they are saying that more is coming in the coming week. Oh well.
Jessica and Matt – this is the second engagement session with us, and they wanted to wait to get some snow so they could have some fun outdoors and get some great images. One thing that I notice is that guys (I’m included in this) think that its OK to go out with shoes and a small jacket ion 20F weather. It’s because we are TOUGH! Or something like that. So we photographed in several different areas and whiole walking towards another area, Jessica and Matt decided that they would start throwing some snow at each other. Well it started with snow then it went to snowballs.
I am proud to say that no future bride was hurt during this snowball throwing break that was taken. The image looks like the snowball was going for Jessica’s head, but that is just an illusion on how I captured the image. I thought that it was a great shot and told the couple that I would post it.

Thanks for braving the cold – I will have more images from this session up soon, plus I will have them posted on their blog site (mentioned in a post below).
We photographed Michelle and Ryan’s wedding and since we were dropping off their album we would tape their testimonial.
Here is what they have to say about their wedding day.
I just learned this year that a wet knot is a tighter knot. It rained on Michelle and Ryan’s wedding day, but they were prepared for this possibility and this did not phase anyone from enjoying their wedding ceremony and the reception. Have you seen the home movie clips of brides and ladies getting knocked down during the bouquet toss? Well some of Ryan’s friends thought that it would be cool to tackle him after he sent the garter sailing. Even the DJ commented that this was the first time that they had seen this.
Michelle and Ryan – Thank you again for selecting us to photograph your wedding.
So everyone has a blog right? How about one that can be used as a place that you can share your thoughts and wedding memories with your friends and family members?
We made a custom blog for Jessica & Mat. They are getting married soon, and thought that it would be different if they used some of their engagement portraits and share them with everyone.

Rhonda and Adam were married on 7/25/09
At first it looked liked we would have some rain. We were ready for anything – rain, sunshine and winds. As it turned out we had a little bit of all during the formals that we captured before the ceremony. Many couples do not want to see each other before the ceremony because of preference of because of some old tale about bad luck. This couple wanted to have lots of pictures to choose from but did not want their guests to wait too long for them between the ceremony and their reception because they wanted a lot of pictures.
The way we approach this is to have a “private” meeting between the groom and the bride so that they can see each other for the first time. This is a perfect time for us to have our cameras ready to capture the expressions that come from this meeting. Having 2 professional photographers gives you the ability to see the expressions of the bride and the groom as they happen, having 1 photographer limits you on what can be captured.
Great formals, great ceremony (first time we photographed a Mennonite ceremony), and great reception (first time we saw a “dash for the cash” instead of a dollar dance). Before we left we noticed the moon above the reception hall, and suggested a few last pictures to the couple – they loved it.

The title of this post is accurate (as far as I can tell). More times then not, we are at a wedding where something does not go quite as planned. As far as I could see being at Julie and Kevin’s wedding yesterday – things went pretty much as planned. I would attribute this to Julie and Kevin’s planning more then a year from their wedding day and retaining wedding professionals so far in advance that they selected ones that were dependable and would come through on their wedding day.
Here are a list of the Wedding Professionals that they used:
Limo – Thomas Limousine
The driver was VERY prepared for some small instances. Groom got his shoe muddy, driver was there with wet wipes and took care of the shoe. Drive was great, she warned us of potential rough spots in the road. Great JOB!!
DJ – The DJ Crew
We have worked at a few weddings with these guys, several different members of The DJ Crew, and they are always spot on with their music. Right level, and just the right song choice. Another great JOB!
Reception Hall & Catering – St. Joe’s Family Center
This is our second time at this reception hall, and we were impressed again. Food was great, service was spot on and everyone was friendly. Again, great JOB!
Photographers – well that was us of course.
And we did a wonderful job as well. Julie and Kevin (plus the bridal party) were game for pretty much anything. We had such a fun time with Julie, Kevin and their friends that we will be talking about this wedding for many years to come. Here are a few teaser pictures.
Thank you for selecting us to be a part of your wedding day.

One of our upcoming weddings will be Rhonda and Adam’s wedding in July. Like most of our couples, we like photographing our couples prior to the wedding day so that we can get an idea on how they will photograph. This also gives the couple a chance to see how we photograph, so that nothing is a mistery on their wedding day.
This image was captured in front of the school that they both work at. Rhonda is a teacher and Adam takes care of the grounds as well as other aspects of school maintenance. The sign was modified, in Photoshop, to make it look like their name and wedding date was on the sign at the time of capturing the image.
