Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Brunner on their 60th Wedding Anniversary. It’s so nice to see a couple enjoy so many years together, and to see their family grow.

I was honored when they asked me to photograph their family group the day after Thanksgiving. Here are several portraits that were captured.

We know that family portraits are important for you and your family, and we consider it a privilege to capture such moments like these. Having fun is always part of the equation when it comes to family portraits. The younger ones in the portrait are often wondering when it will be done, and when they can leave – we make sure that they are looked after, and that we capture a portrait of them having fun. Take a look at what we mean by having fun.

After photographing Shawn Doak’s senior portraits, it was time to take a family portrait (or a kid family portrait ) so that the parents could have an update image of the gang.

It was such a nice day out, that we decided to do a portrait in the park.

Here is what we captured.

This is our second chance to photograph Michelle and her family. We attempted to photograph her immediate family at her in-laws house 2 years ago, but the weather did not cooperate several times so we changed the outdoor session to a studio session.

This year was different – not the weather, but its timing. Saturday had rain, but it was quick and not having rain for about 2 weeks prior to this allowed the ground to soak up the water quickly so that we could get some images of the extended family.

Everyone showed up on time, and their clothing was a coordinated effort. This was great, and the images show what coordinating clothes means for a family picture. The initial look at the image makes your eye go towards the faces of everyone in the picture, and not to what they were wearing during their family session.

What a great keepsake for all that were in the portrait. Grandparents always love hanging images of their grandchildren, and sometimes of their children too.
