Two more Wedding Dates booked up.

Since the bridal show at Westfield Belden Village Mall, we have booked up 2 more wedding dates for 2010. This gives us a total of 11 Saturdays that are booked up this year.

We still have some dates available, and one of these dates may be yours. Fill out our contact information and let us know what your wedding date is and we will check it against our calendars to see if we have it available.

For those that are looking for wedding dates in 2011 – I would start looking and booking soon. We have 8 Saturdays that are booked up, and from the looks of all the inquiries that we have been receiving we will book up quickly. Not only will booking a wedding photographer take one more thing off your “to get done list”, but it will also give you time to spend with your photographers to get to know them with an engagement session. PLUS – booking now should look in 2010 prices for your 2011 wedding.

Here is an article that ALL upcoming wedding couples should read and take seriously – not because we put the link up on a blog post, but because we have heard from so many people that selected the wrong photographers for their wedding and that is the one thing that they regret about their wedding day.

Bride Writes on our Facebook Wall

We love hearing from couples that we have photographed their wedding – we love hearing from anyone that we have photographed. Michelle and Ryan were a lot of fun. Nicole and I had a great time with them as they had so many great ideas for their pictures. Engagement pictures – well we were so lucky to have been in front of a theater, and have the sign changed to have their names up on the marquee. This made Ryan’s day as he is really into anything neon. Visiting their basement, you require a sun block of 30 spf or greater because of all the amazing neon signs that he has collected over the years. He needs all of those neon signs to light up his extensive collection of beer cans & beer bottles.

Here is the comment on our Facebook wall:

Hi Nicole, hope everything is going well. Ryan and I have gotten a lot of compliments on our wedding album! Wedding party update… Stephanie (bridesmaid) had a baby girl in April 2009, Alana (matron of honor) had baby boy two weeks ago…..

This is so great. As many of you have found, Facebook is such an incredible networking site. We have contacted many of our high school friends, which are some distance away for us, as well as keep in touch with so many of the couples that we have photographed their wedding.

We treat our photography as a way to build a lifetime relationship – not just a one time service.

Michelle and Ryan – we are so excited that everyone loves your albums (engagement signature album and your bridal album). The weather was not the greatest on your wedding day – but you guys made it happen anyway. We just learned this saying at a wedding in 2009 – a wet knot is a tighter knot. Thank you again for allowing us to capture your special day, and we are here for any other special days that you may have coming up.

My Wedding Photographer was a jerk!

This is the comment that we have heard from some of our guests that stopped by our Bridal Show booth yesterday. It seems like there are 2 flavors of wedding photographers – “We loved our photographer” OR “Our wedding photographer was a jerk”. We hear this comment and others similar to this all the time.

We had a bride come to our booth yesterday and who is planning her second wedding – and from her first experience, she knows that wedding photography is something that she is budgeting higher on. Why? Because the images that she received from her first wedding were not what she expected – “I went cheap, and I received exactly what I paid for”.

We can relate to this experience, and that is why we would never give this type of experience to our couples. You will find that we try to go above and beyond with our customer service.

We have an award

The past four years we have attended a photo seminar that attracts between 100-130 photographers from Canada and the US. The seminar is sponsored by a photography forum that we participate in, and have learned so much from. Attending this seminar is like visiting family, and its a great way to talk shop, face to face with photographers from different areas of Canada and the US.

We were nominated by another photographer and received an award for continued improvement in customer service, as well as good business practice. What does this mean? Our customers are very important to us and we show it with our customer contact, plus continuous improvement in our photography skills, and in customer service will always be a focus for our business.

Thank you to NoBSPhotosuccess and Kris Gay for this award. We are truly humbled from this and will proudly display our award in our studio.

Emails that we LOVE to receive

We received this email yesterday from a very satisfied bride – and she has yet to see her wedding images. Read what she has to say about our services:

———————-
We photographed Lynn and Chris from the start of their “getting married” journey. A friend of Lynn knew she was going to be proposed to, and this friend just happen to be my daughter’s kindergarten teacher. She knew a couple of photographers that would be able to give Chris and Lynn something different – images of the proposal. It was exactly one year before their wedding date that Chris proposed to her. Chris knew that I was to photograph them but Lynn did not. She found out only a few weeks before we delivered her engagement album to her. She was SO thrilled and had to explain over and over again to everyone looking at her album that the images I captured were not recreated, that they were the actual moment of the proposal. I was so happy to be there to capture this for them – what a unique way to capture such a thrilling moment in one’s life.

On to their wedding day – what an amazing day. It started off with Nicole and I meeting with Chris and Lynn capturing some moments before the ceremony. Then through the ceremony we captured the emotions and the laughter that was part of their ceremony – the priest helped with the laughter. The funny thing is that Lynn and Chris both were aware of where I was at most of the time, and I have a few images of them looking directly at me while I am photographing the wedding. This meant that both of them had no issues with nerves – or they just wanted to make sure that I was taking pictures. :)

They had their ceremony at the Butler Institute of American Art, which made for great backgrounds and an amazing dining and dancing area. Plus the outside of the museum was a great background when we took a night time image of Lynn and Chris.
Here are a few images that were captured during their wedding day.
Chris and Lynn – thank you so much for selecting us to capture your proposal, engagement and wedding day images. We had a great time at all three of them, especially when Lynn found out that we captured Chris proposing to her.

Rain to Rock Wedding

We came back from Kelly and Kevin’s wedding tired but with some great portraits in an area that we had NEVER photographed before. It rained most of the day, which required an alternative location to photograph the wedding party. Thanks to their limo driver, we headed to Tower City – Downtown Cleveland. It was a great spot to have pictures done, and there were so many options to select from that we could have spent another 4 hours there.

While there, no less then 4 other wedding parties were having their portraits taken in Tower City. Looking around we noticed that other photographers were taking the “safe” images of their couples and wedding parties – near the fountain, on the staircase and other places like that. We like to think a little different and capture portraits for our couple that will not only be timeless but unique. The couple took the plunge and got married – we took the plunge to capturing images that will set their wedding portraits apart from others.

Kelly, Kevin and the entire wedding party – thank you for being such troupers when it came time to the portrait. You guys had fun, were so at ease and great to photograph – the images show this!!

Awesome Alliance Wedding

Sometimes we go great distances to capture someone’s wedding memories. We have been in Texas, California and even Nova Scotia. Our latest wedding was right here in our home town – Alliance, Ohio.

Amber and Mark were married at the First Baptist Church in Alliance, Ohio. They decided to have their formal portraits taken prior to the wedding. Mark and Amber requested that they see each other before the ceremony, which seems to be getting more and more popular, so they could spend more time with their guests by proceeding to the reception almost immediately after the ceremony. This worked out very well, as we were able to capture all family images in 20-25 minutes.

Here is an image that we captured before the ceremony. Thank you Amber, Mark and the entire wedding party for showing us that you guys had a great time on this day.
