The company is owned by Nicole and she has one employee – her husband Bruce. That is us to the left – this portrait was created by James Hodgins (www.hodginsphotography.com). James is a fellow photographer, from the great white north, that we look to for inspiration and for personal training. I have traveled to James’ hometown of Sudbury, Ontario (I wish he lived closer) to follow him and his lovely wife on a wedding – and I could not believe what I learned. There is nothing like getting right into the thick of things to see how to capture more amazing images for our clients.
Nicol Photography, LLC came to life because of the need to photograph a sibling’s wedding. About 6 months before the wedding, we started looking around to find out all of the information we could about photographing weddings, the preparation that it takes, and what equipment and training we needed. Within a few weeks of our research we found that we loved the idea of photographing weddings. Soon after, we opened our doors to new clients and have been happily photographing couples since 2004. Each year we continue to grow and enjoy each and every couples story’s we have been a part of. We have learned the art of dress bustling in 2 minutes or less (that is one of Nicole’s specialties) to bringing snacks, drinks and a whole bag of emergency products that might be needed.
Wedding photography was the start of our Photography business. We photograph High School Seniors, Children, Babies, Families, and almost anything else that can be captured with our cameras.
