Today was our second day photographing at a local preschool.

We love photographing at preschools, because you just never know what will happen. How silly do we have to be to get that good smile from the little one that is in front of our camera? Can we crack the rough exterior of the biggest frown on a little one – you bet. Photographing at a preschool gives a whole new challenge on what to do when children do not want to smile.

What do we do during a Preschool Photo Session? Check out this video, where we let the children use our self serve option. Just a gag by the way – we do not have enough insurance to cover our photography equipment that will be handled by the preschool children.

This year we will be offering a variety of different Christmas cards while we are photographing Santa Claus.

But you don’t have to wait to come and see Santa Claus to have these ordered. Come in to have a family session done and we will show you a sample of what your card can look like.

Don’t forget – we print on site, so you don’t have to wait weeks for your images. You select them, we print them, and you go home with them. What could be better?

Soon Thanksgiving will be upon us, and then it’s time for that jolly fellow to come to town. So have you been naughty or nice this year?

We have the pleasure of being Santa’s photographers again this year at the Carnation City Mall. Santa wants to invite you and your family to come to his workshop and have your portrait taken with him. Mrs. Claus will try her very best to be with him most days so that children can have their picture taken with Mr & Mrs Santa Claus.

We print on site – so no need to come back to pick up your images. They print in a few minutes

Children – bring your parents along so that they can be with you as you get an image with Santa.

We just heard the weather forecast for this weekend and we are suppose to have a gorgeous Sunday. So to celebrate one of the last nice days of the year we decided to send out a quick last minute special to everyone.

Soon Ayrabella will be turning 1 year old, and her mom decided to bring her in for some portraits – one of the portraits that she wanted was a birthday cake session. She did very well at taking on the cake. Plus she is such a ham when it comes to getting her picture taken at our studio.

Before we did the birthday cake session, some portraits were done as we did not know how dirty Ayrabella was going to get with her birthday cake.

Soon after this image Ayrabella was prepped for her birthday cake session and she had a great old time with the cake. At first she did not know what to do with the cake. Then Nicole helped her out by putting both of her hands in the cake and Ayrabella started tearing up the cake. Mom was hoping that she would do a “face plant” into the cake. This only happened ONCE and I was so glad that I captured the image.

Is this a crime scene? No – it’s the remains of the cake that Ayrabella had fun with. She was a little messy, but it was so worth it when you look at the pictures.

So this is the third time that we see Ayrabella – its great to watch her grow. She was almost walking and I am certain that once she gets her legs under her, mom will have a hard time to keep up.

The first portrait was taken while Ayrabella was having fun pulling at our props. This is something that happens, and we do not stress about it. Now parents usually apologize, and try to reset the props – but we are not too worried about it. As you can see Ayrabella was having a great time pulling at the props.

This next portrait was made specifically for Ayrabella’s father. He purchased the outfit that she is wearing in the portrait and we were able to find a background that matched her outfit perfectly.

Ayrabella is on the go. Don’t believe me, take a look at the first image. She is starting to find her legs and mom will soon be chasing around the house to catch up to her. I feel that I will be chasing her in our studio when her and mom visit us the next time.

She is one of our easiest little models and she is a lot of fun to photograph. Mom comes prepared with hair bows, different outfits and plenty of energy to keep up with her high energy young daughter. There are so many images to choose from her sessions that it makes it difficult for mom to pick her favorite ones.

It’s our first day at Carnation City Mall with the Easter Bunny, and she is chilling with our daughter.

Drop on by and have some portraits of your children done with the Easter Bunny. She dropped in to the local Bunny Salon to have her fur colored and had her ears straightened (instead of getting a perm), so she looks brand new. Now parents can als0 join their children to have a unique family portrait done. Don’t forget that all of our portraits are printed on site so that you can leave with them soon after we take the image.

Well it’s that time of the year again. The Easter Bunny will be visiting the Carnation City Mall.

Hop on by the Carnation City Mall to see the Easter Bunny and to have some portraits with him.

Today we had a quick model session with Lydia because her mom received an email from us. The message we sent to many local families asked for models between the ages of 2 and 12 for our new studio at Carnation City Mall. No cost, and we would actually give them a free 5×7 for coming in for us to see if we could use them on some new photo items. We know what items that we want to purchase – we just need some cute models for these items.

Hey Nicole!! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing some time with Lydia and I! Bruce did a fantastic job with her today and Lydia hasn’t stopped talking about him yet!!!
